During this year’s Milan Design Week, Bar Basso veterans will notice something different about its interiors (completely unchanged since 1967), owner Maurizio Stocchetto has commissioned Canadian lighting duo Gabriel Scott to create custom lighting fixtures inside and to develop a storefront jewel-box installation.
Dreamscape, the world’s largest interactive lighting display links the entire Quay precinct from the Sydney Opera House to the Sydney Harbour Bridge into one cohesive canvas of light.
Key features of the installation are its accessibility and interactivity, enabling participants to control the colour, texture and pattern of lighting along the entire precinct.
