For the Salone 2017, Toiletpaper created a PopUp bar at the Mediateca Santa Teresa ( within the Wallpaper* Holy Handmade exhibition space ), in the heart of the Brera Design District.
The Toiletpaper Bar ! installation used imagery created by artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari, in collaboration with Guffram, Seletti, La Buttiga
Continuing the group’s collaboration with celebrated photographers, collections were counterpointed by the colourful and almost surreal photographic details of Levon Biss’’ high-magnification insect portraits.
The ‘Microsculpture’ series was edited from the Oxford University Museum of Natural History collection, providing a fascinatingly and very opulent interior backdrop.
It is with enormous sorrow that we noted Sharrin Rees’ passing ( Sept 2016 in Sydney )
A pioneer in interior Architectural photography, Sharrin brought her unique eye for design and detail to every project lucky enough to be the focus of her gaze.
Sharrin did far more than take photos. She brought forth a look, a portfolio and statement of architectural signature unique to each practice. Her appreciation of the beauty of detail, the nuance of form and the elegance of light and colour that made her work so extraordinary.
Her photographic eye was always able to draw out both the monumental and minutiae of a project’s attributes, a talent that always resulted in beautiful images
The Architecture & Design community will miss her terribly and its members are honoured to have come under her sharp and beautiful gaze.
Stamberga, the iconic Milan concept art space, hosted “ Contemporanei ” by Vittorio Bonacina.
The Stamberga store’s appearance is that of a large workshop, the walls are crumbling and leave the brick, without deliberately being fixed up to emphasize that the time left significant traces and history

The large format Spectre of Milan newspaper was available to pick up free of charge, from various distribution points across Milan during the Salone.
