Whilst Tom Dixon is currently involved in many different ventures and projects – from lighting and furniture design, co-owning a highly regarded restaurant, re-purposing a water tower in his home town of London, designing a clothing line – he shows no signs of stalling or taking his eye off the balls in motion.

He was in Sydney as the special guest of dedece, to be part of the launch of the new TD collections eg  Fin, Lustre, Etch Web lights and the new drum stools.

Whilst he was here,  he took advantage of the opportunity – to give 2 x very informative talks about his design philosophies and directions, as well as informally having a chance to talk with a number of design media and design lovers

Tom covered many and varied subjects including – ceramics / replicas / milan 2013 new releases / supply chains / business management issues / growth / materials / sustainability / product development strategies / global marketplace issues / upcoming collaboration with Adidas // …..  and much, much more
