Nilufar is known today as one of Italy’s most active and original galleries in the fields of historical and contemporary design, antique Oriental carpets and furniture. The gallery – now housed in a three-storey space on Milan’s prestigious via della Spiga – was founded by Nina Yashar in 1979 and, since then, has presented exhibitions of an unmistakable style: always eclectic, and always to be read in novel, unexpected ways.
