The Minotti family together with Rodolfo Dordoni, hosted a cocktail dinner on Thursda y, 6th April from 7:30 PM at the Company Showroom in Meda, Via Indipendenza 152. ( just out of Milan )

The ” WE ARE FAMILY ” party was a great chance to share a beautiful night with all the Minotti Ambassadors from around the globe, as well as to celebrate the successful endeavours of the Minotti family togther with Rodolfo Dordoni in creating a truly spectacular 2017 furniture and textiles collection

The night unfolded as seen through dedece’s eyes —

A mini bus shuttle service was arranged to take the few hundred invited guests from the Milan Rho Fairground onwards to the eagrly anticipated Minotti cocktail party held at their nearby headquarters in Meda

The reasonably quick bus trip ( given Mil’s peak hour traffic ) allowed us to all meet many new people from the international Minotti dealership who were in Milan for the Salone

It set the mood for what was to be a seamless, faultless and really enjoyable evening

A space designed to capture the essence and identity of the Minotti brand, has now become its permanent expression in the most effective and authentic way.

Designed by Studio Dordoni Architetti, Spazio Minotti is located in an industrial complex in Meda, the company’s premises.

An elaborate project involved redeveloping part of the industrial site, expanding it to create a raised 1,000 sq.m exhibition surface area and obtain a sprawling, bright space that would host the company’s latest collections and iconic products from past collections.

After crossing the entrance, you have the impression of finding yourself in a large house where the materials – concrete walls, concrete and Piasentina stone flooring, warm, tobacco-colored wood paneling, huge windows screened by smoky gray linen curtains – exude the ideal setting to highlight the seating systems and the myriad of furnishing complements from the company catalog.

The skillful use of perspectives, raised platforms and sophisticated lighting create an interesting succession of truly eye-catching settings intended to showcase not just the products but also the inimitable Minotti lifestyle.

The terrace of the SPAZIO MINOTTI permanently hosts a selection of the most popular pieces from the Lifescape Collection to show just how easy it is to mingle pieces from different collections with results that exude warmth and a sophisticated elegance that is perfectly in keeping with the style of the interior decor.

Minotti’s Meda based headquarters is both the permanent display trade showroom  ( used for ctalogue and advertising shoots ) as well as the production factory where Minotti’s world renowned sofas, chairs and tables etc are made and despatched from

After the Salone is finished, Minotti will bring the new 2017 Anthology Collections to this showroom space and integrate it with many pieces from the 2016 collections ( which were shown on the night of the party )

This was the chance for the Minotti Family and employees to celebrate their combined efforts in delivering a beautiful showroom presentation and exquisite 2017 collection

The culimination of a years planning certainly deserved a great party celebration !!

In true Italian style the hospitality buffet was magnificent

During the evening guests were entertained by a DJ as well as by the amazing sultry voice of Loretta Grace and her band who belted out a string of 1970’s and 80’s soul hits to get the crowd dancing amd singing along

These were some of our favorite hits sung by Loretta Grace – which quickly got the crowd on their feet for the whole night long

The nice thing about the Minotti Family is that they can enjoy a good party alongside everyone there

The night was a celebration of their year long efforts – leading up to the Salone presentations

The dedece crew and invited A&D friends spent the night dancing till the wee hours – ( like there was no tomorrow !! – but unfortunately it was back to business the next morning !)

But then it was time to Go home ………

The same bus transfer service was provided from Meda back to Milan later in the evening to return guests to Piazza San Babila, Milano downtown, which was a convenient place for guests to take a taxi back to their hotels.
