La Tenda Milano, at via Solferino 10, demonstrated its’ strong interest in the world of Fashion and Art, with a celebration of aesthetic and techniques based on the chosen theme of Africa.
La Tenda Experience – Fashion and Art paid homage to a land that fascinates the design and fashion communities with its culture and colours, through a series of events on April 11th, 14th and 16th.
Once again design, in all its purity, was able to penetrate throughout the La Tenda boutique, as well as occupy the surrounding outdoor areas, to help celebrate the aesthetics and techniques used by the artists gathered.
The 2016 theme chosen was ” Africa, a tribute to a land that has always fascinated and influence, with its culture and its colors, the world of design and fashion. “
La Tenda infused and transmitted the instinctive passion and visual material of this landscape.
Creativity needs new stimuli and therefore, more and more, art, design, fashion and food are new ways to communicate and create connections.
Paola Lenti ( Relationships )
In our own lives there are many Relationships that can be created and from which flow ratios temporary and fleeting or solid and lasting.
Relationships between colors, between different worlds and cultures, between ancient and modern , between the past and the future, but especially among people.
Relationshps is an invisible web of wires, enriched by the collaboration of two artists, Maria Calderara and Carla walls, that for the first time on this occasion are pared up with Paola Lenti’s exclusive textile materials.
Paola Lenti presented RELAZIONI, a tribute to Africa, a land with a primordial charm, able to give strong emotions and to influence fashion and design with its culture and colours.
For RELAZIONI Paola Lenti decided to create unique versions of some products in its collection, instinctively playing with colours, combining the most natural, those closest to the colours of the earth, of the sky dyed with the shades of the sunset and the sunrise, into powerful contrasts and combinations, where the simple and primitive “sign” dominates the form.
The relationships between colours, between the different worlds and cultures, between the antique and the modern, past and future and above all among people.
RELAZIONI is an interweave of invisible threads, enhanced by the important work of the artist Carla Mura from Cagliari and Maria Calderara, a fashion designer, who, for the first time in this occasion, have worked with Paola Lenti’s signature textile materials
.

Maria Calderara
Maria Calderara came to fashion after graduating in Architecture.
It dominates her jewellery project in all its forms and facets.
This time, thanks to the encounter with Paola Lenti, she creates textures and new combinations of color that are the basis of this new line.
