Once again the magic of Chiostri dell’Umanitaria has been the setting, during Milan Design Week, for the 2013 collections by Paola Lenti.
Paola’s “In the Key of Colour” presentation utilised materials, fabrics and colours that were all intrinsically tuned to each other, giving life to a rich chromatic proposal
This was one of our best memories from Salone 2013 – and perhaps furthest from the chaotic-stereotypical image of super glamorous events of the Salone
Flowers, glistening pools, cloisters, emerald green gardens and an explosion of color. We are not in any remote region of beautiful Italy, far from time and space, but at the Salone, in an historic relic of Milan – made of design and modernity.
Pause, relaxation, silence punctuated by classical music whose background harmonies are a series of paintings where the visitors enter and directly connect with creativity.
Slow human moments and movements welcome us with intelligence and a sense of Paola Lenti’s rythmns
Neither a designer, not an architect – Paola Lenti is a lover of design and colour, and again for the 3rd time, she chose to attend the event par excellence of Milan design by bringing her flavors to one of the previously most forgotten spaces in Milan, the cloisters of St Barnabas Street Humanitarian.
Paola’s first “adventure” as a designer, was through carpets, then poufs, armchairs, tables, lamps, pools, green walls, complete furnishings for indoor and outdoor activities.
