The play of edges and spaces, changes in ceiling heights, manic research for alignment and symmetries together with the unconventional selection of materials and colors give the space a strikingly compelling, emotional charge.
The presence of chestnut in the new tobacco hue introduced this year by Minotti both in the product finishes and the structure that houses them, paired with the rough ceiling cement, the alluring gloss white lacquer shades, the use of stone and glass, everything contributes to create a fascinating space with a hint of contemporary California style.
This forms the ideal breeding ground for the new products inspired by the iconic lines of true and proper masters of ‘50 design, interpreted in a strikingly modern way and rearranged by making the most of today’s technological solutions.
COMPANY
Minotti was founded by Alberto Minotti in the 1950s. Its original craft dimensions would change soon; by the 1960s it had already developed into an industrial enterprise.
The next step was taken by Renato and Roberto Minotti: between the 1970s and 1980s they made their surname into a nationally and internationally acknowledged brand. Responsible for the company’s strategies, the Minotti brothers shared the creative line, stylistic characteristics and aesthetic principles with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who has been co-ordinating the collections ever since 1997.
