MOST visitors have the opportunity to participate in daily “sweet” workshops organised by Carpigiani Gelato University. Masters from the world’s most famous and prestigious gelato school will teach visitors how to create their own gelato – unique and incomparable as is typical for Italian gelato – using a Carpigiani university laboratory machine.
The creative experiments usually conclude with a tasting of the delicious treats.
At MOST during the Salone, the Masters of gelato making from Carpigiani Gelato University guided designers and visitors in the methods and concepts to of create cutting edge gelato ice creams as well helping them to also have a go at re-designing the gelato cone.
It has now been over 100 years since the ice cream cone was invented by Marchioni, so young designers are invited to devise a new, innovative container for gelato, ideally combining practicality and esthetics. The hope is that tomorrow’s cone will be born at MOST
